Project-Based Services
Digital Elliptical delivers software development services on a project or retainer basis. Work is typically structured around defined milestones with payment tied to delivery.
Refund eligibility is assessed on a case-by-case basis depending on: the engagement model in the written agreement, the milestone stage at which a dispute arises, whether deliverables were reviewed and approved by the client, and the circumstances causing the refund request.
Milestone Approvals
Upon delivery of a milestone, clients are given a review period to inspect and approve deliverables. Approved milestones are considered accepted and payments associated with approved milestones are generally non-refundable.
We encourage clients to review deliverables thoroughly within the agreed review period and raise concerns before formal approval.
Refund Eligibility
A partial or full refund may be considered in the following circumstances:
Failure to deliver agreed scope without a resolution path, where Digital Elliptical is at fault.
Engagement cancelled before work on a paid milestone begins.
Mutual agreement to discontinue work before project completion, where specific conditions in the agreement allow for a refund.
All refund requests must be submitted in writing to sales@digitalelliptical.com with a clear description of the concern.
Non-Refundable Items
The following are generally non-refundable:
Discovery, scoping, and consulting work that has been delivered.
Design or development milestones that have been reviewed and approved.
Third-party costs incurred on behalf of the client (cloud services, licenses, etc.).
Time spent on revisions requested by the client beyond the agreed scope.
Dispute Resolution
We aim to resolve all concerns through direct communication before escalating to formal dispute resolution.
If a resolution cannot be reached through discussion, disputes will be handled in accordance with the governing law specified in the written project agreement.
